About Us

Straight from the Shibuya Streets to Your Fingertips 💅

It started with a 2am spiral through old Egg Magazine scans and it never really stopped. 🌸

I've been obsessed with gyaru culture, Y2K Japanese street fashion, and the kind of nail art that makes people do a double take since before it was cool to be this specific about things. I'm the girl who spends hours researching the difference between manba and ganguro. The one who thinks your nails should always be saying something even when you're not.

KawaiiClawz was born out of pure frustration. I kept looking for press-on nails that actually matched the energy I was going for — rhinestones, bows, zebra print, long coffin sets that felt like they came straight out of a Shibuya 109 window display circa 2004 — and I just couldn't find them. Everything was either too basic, too boring, or just missing the whole point.

So I went and found the good stuff myself. Every single set in this shop was handpicked by someone who actually lives in this world. Not just someone who thinks kawaii is cute — someone who knows exactly why it matters, what makes it authentic, and what separates a nail set that gives from one that just exists.

KawaiiClawz is for the girls who go all out. The ones who know what gyaru means. The ones who are just discovering it and already feel like they've been missing something their whole life.

Your nails should never be basic. We're here to make sure they never are. 💅🖤
